Lecciones de estilo: Carolyn Bessette Kennedy

Puede que se esten preguntando, quien es Carolyn? Ella fue directora de publicidad de Calvin Klein y esposa de John F. Kennedy Jr. (el hijo del presidente estadounidense JFK y Jackie O.). Empezó a ser conocida cuando salia con John y cautivo a todos con su impecable estilo. Tenia un estilo muy elegante y natural, casi siempre de cara lavada y en eventos con su famoso red lip. Ella es de los iconos que jamas pasan de moda, tal como Lady Di. Por esta razón es por la que aun años después de su lamentable fallecimiento podemos seguirla usando como referencia en nuestros looks de dia a dia. Les dejare unos looks de Carolyn clásicos que aun podemos usar hoy en dia. 

1- Top negro y sandalias strappy

En este look Carolyn esta paseando a su perro con un outfit casual pero elegante (mi favorito), lleva un top simple negro con jeans straight y sandalias del tipo que están en tendencia. Puedes encontrar un look muy parecido en Zara.

 

2- Camisa blanca 

Este look es algo super preppy que jamas pasa de moda, una camisa blanca con las mangas arremangadas con khakis y unos tenis o zapatos simples. Lo que llama la atencion aqui de su look es su Birkin gigante negra que no cualquiera puede tener.

3- Floral dress

Aqui Carolyn lleva un vestido floral a la rodilla que jamas pasara de moda en primavera y verano, es super simple pero hace que te veas un poco mas arreglada. Probablemente le cambiariamos los tacones a unos que van de acuerdo a nuestra época pero el vestido es un clasico.

4- Nude & black

La combinacion de los colores nude y negro es algo infallible que siempre sera de muy buen gusto, tanto en eventos formales como en el dia a dia. En esta imagen estaban en una recepcion de Cartier para presentar su nuevo reloj en 1996.

5- Pañuelo en la cabeza

Esto ahorita es una tendencia, Dior es una de las marcas que mas recientemente lo ha implementado. Carolyn lo lleva con el pelo recogido y un look simple en donde resaltan los colores vibrantes en su cabeza.

Estas fueron algunas lecciones de estilo que nos dejo Carolyn Bessette Kennedy que lamentablemente murio en Julio de 1999 en un accidente de avion al igual que otros Kennedy. Fue una belleza extraordinaria.

Magic mask

Hola del dia 5413541 en cuarentena, o eso parece! Muchas de ustedes me pidieron que hiciera un post de mascarillas o skin care cuando les pregunte en insta y pues que creen?.......... Acabo de descubrir una mascarilla de verdad MÁGICA. Aclaro que jamas hago mascarillas caseras porque siempre me terminan dando alguna reaccion alergica, pero esta no me hizo absolutamente nada de daño. El otro dia me vi la frente y tenia muchos granitos tipo esos rojos fastidiositos chiquitos, me puse esta mascarilla y al dia siguiente se me había desinflamado, secado y ya no tenia rojo! Igual mi hermana la quiso usar por que traia los mismos granitos fasti y en cuanto se la quito un grano se le habia quitado literal, como magia. Esta mascarilla me encanto por que aparte es super exfoliante y te deja la piel super limpia. Bueno ya dejando la labia hahaha aqui esta la mascarilla secreta:

Mascarilla de Bicarbonato
Ingredientes:
- Bicarbonato de sodio
- Agua mineral
(Literal eso es todo)


Lo unico que tienen que hacer es mezclar una cucharada de bicarbonato con poquita agua mineral y listo! Yo en lo personal tengo la cara y la piel en general mega sensible, entonces les puedo decir con seguridad que esta mascarilla no las va a irritar! Por lo mismo yo solo me la deje 5 min, pero si tu piel es un poco mas tolerable te la puedes dejar 10. Cuando te la vayas ya a quitar te la quitas haciendo movimientos suaves y circulares para exfoliar tu piel. (siempre en movimiento hacia afuera para promover flujo de sangre). Para hacerla una mascarilla exfoliante y al mismo tiempo hidratante le pueden agregar 1 cucharada de miel de abeja! La puedes usar 2 veces por semana separando los dias! Les dara una luminosidad increible! P.S. Esta la pueden usar hombres tanto como mujeres.

Welcome to day 5181584565465 in quarantine, or at least that's what it feels like! Many of you on my instagram asked me to post skincare and face masks and guess what?........... I just found a truly Magical DIY face mask. I clarify that I never make homemade masks because they always end up giving me an allergic reaction, but this did absolutely no harm to me. The other day I saw my forehead and I had a lot of those pesky pimples, I put on this mask and the next day they had gone down, dried up and my forehead was no longer red! My sister wanted to use it because she had the same pesky pimples and as soon as she washed it off the pimples had been removed literally, like magic. I loved this mask because it is also super exfoliating and leaves your skin super clean. Well here is the secret mask:

Baking Soda Mask

Ingredients:
- Baking Soda
- Mineral water
(Literal that's it)

The only thing you have to do is mix a tablespoon of baking soda with a little mineral water and that's it! I personally have a mega sensitive face and skin in general, so I can tell you for sure that this mask will not irritate you! For the same reason, I only left it for 5 min, but if your skin is a little more tolerable, you can leave it for 10. When you go to wash it off, remove it by making gentle and circular movements to exfoliate your skin. (always moving outward to promote blood flow). To make it an exfoliating and at the same time hydrating mask you can add 1 tablespoon of honey! You can use it twice a week separating the days! It will give them an incredible luminosity! . This can be used by men as well as women.

Sobre la marca que mas me preguntan es Pandora. Yo empece a amar Pandora desde que alguien muy especial me regalo mi primera pulsera, de ahi en adelante me enamore de todo que fuera de la marca. En la pagina online de Pandora Mexico no se puede comprar, pero hay un secreto y una pagina donde si estan;) PAGINA SECRETA: Liverpool. Asi es, en Liverpool Online puedes encontrar joyeria Pandrora obviamente original. Aqui ponen muchas ofertas y rebajan los productos Pandora bastante seguido. Una cosa es que no tienen todo, tienen bastantes charms, anillos, pulseras y aretes pero no tienen todos los que estan disponibles en la pagina de Pandora. Aun asi si tienen variedad. Algo que tambien es como un secretito es que aveces no dice la talla de los anillos o no da la opcion de escoger la talla pero viene AVECES en el tab de caracteristicas. Las compras aqui son super seguras y te llegan en 3 dias, es muy rapido. Si tu tienes acceso a alguna direccion o PO box en estados unidos entonces puedes pedir directamente de la pagina y claro aveces sale mucho mas barato, pero si no vives cerca de un pandora o no tienes acceso a USA entonces esta forma es la mejor para comprar lo que quieras de la marca! Visiten liverpool seguido y chequen si tienen descuentos o bajan los precios. Esta marca es mi favorita, real no le pasa nada a las cosas de pandora asi andes en el mar, en la alberca, te bañes con tu joyeria o duermas con ella no pasa nada, solo hay que cuidarla y limpiarla cuando se debe. Otro tip de esta marca es que compres el kit de limpieza, viene con un cepillito, un llavero para abrir tu pulsera, pañitos de limpieza y un instructivo para cuando no puedes ir directamente a la tienda tu misma limpies tus joyas. Igual venden el liquido para limpiar pero aun no lo he probado! Abajo les dejo fotos de como me llegaron cuando pedi en Liverpool.

Swarovski
Esta es otra marca super hermosa y de buena calidad. En la pagina hacen bastantes ofertas y hay un lugar secreto donde puedes encontrar cosas bellas y a menor precio. Hay un tab que dice OUTLET, pueden entrar ahi y escoger la categoria de lo que quieren ver. Hay muchos articulos con muy buen descuento que pueden encontrar en ese tab. Aqui si puedes pedir en linea y llega a tu casa aqui en Mexico! (Tambien la pueden econtrar en liverpool y aveces las piezas sold out en la pg de swarovski las encuentran ahi).

La marca del osito! Esta marca me encanta por su estetica y por sus empaques. La verdad es que tienen un excelente Marketing y todos caemos en eso! Lo bueno es que esta joyeria es de muy buena calidad a pesar de el intento de difamarlos que fue todo un escandalo, la marca comprobo que todo era falso y siguen haciendo joyeria de excelente calidad. Lo que tiene esta marca es variedad, no solo joyas en forma de oso. Venden joyeria, accesorios, regalos para bebes, anillos de compromiso, relojes, joyeria de hombres y hasta bolsos. Les recomiendo mucho que prueben est marca muy juvenil y refescante! Tienen excelentes campañas y colecciones. Puedes encontrar desde algo muy simple hasta lo mas exotico, estoy segura que tendran algo de tu estilo. Aqui ademas tienen un programa de fidelizacion de los mejores que yo he visto. Cuando creas tu cuenta te regalan 1 año extra de garantia, 3 servicios gratis de limpieza de tus joyas y puedes ir acumulando dinero para regalos de parte de la pagina llamados toussi. Esta pagina es un hallazgo nuevo y muy emocionante! La verdad es que yo aun no compro de ahi pero ganas me sobran! Desde su excelente diseño de pagina hasta sus empaques esta marca me enamoro. Ademas de sus joyas tan bonitas esta marca ayuda a mujeres vulnerables desde España hasta África, eso es algo que me gusto mucho. La marca trata mucho de empoderamiento femenino. Espero pronto pedir algo de aqui!

Palacio de Hierro
Bueno esta no es una marca de joyeria pero si es un super tip. En esta pagina puedes encontrar joyeria un poco mas high end como Tory Burch, Tane o Aristocrazy. Algo que tambien pueden pedir de esta pagina que no tiene nada que ver pero como tip hahaha es Longchamp y UGG. Esta pagina es una joyita. Aqui ponen muy seguido promociones tambien. Lo unico que no estoy segura es si los articulos vienen con su bolsa o empaque, cuando pedi mi bolsa de longchamp venia sola en la caja sin su bolsa de regalo pero no estoy segura con las otras marcas! En fin, aqui encuentran marcas un poco mas de lujo.

En estas paginas ya es high end y designer. Aqui puedes encontrar marcas como Cartier o Bvlgari. Igual venden todo de diseñador desde ropa, zapatos, joyeria, accesorios, etc...

Bisuteria y joyeria
Muchas veces en algunas paginas de ropa tienen una seccion que dice bisuteria, esto significa joyeria de fantasia. La verdad es que yo les recomiendo que en lugar de estar comprando articulos de bisuteria muy baratos, ahorren, y se compren joyeria de calidad. Siento que es un gasto de dinero comprar algo que vas a tener que tirar en 1 mes. Claro que depende como cuides las cosas pero la mayoria de las veces estas cosas se hacen feas. A mi en lo personal no me gusta comprar bisuteria porque tengo la piel muy sensible y enseguida me causan una reaccion, mas los aretes, me dan muchisima alergia si son de fantasia y se me han llegado a infectar por los materiales de estos. Es mejor invertir algo que te puede durar una vida a comprar algo barato que dura 1 mes.

Tips:
- Subscribete a las paginas con tu correo y haz una cuenta, casi todas te dan el 15% por tu primera compra!
- Siempre asegurate de saber tus tallas para que no pidas algo que tengas que devolver

Many times in some clothing pages they have a section that says jewelery, this means fantasy jewelry. The truth is that of buying very cheap jewelry items i recommend you to save money and buy quality jewelry. Tie Dye DIY

Hola todas y todos! Hoy hice un outfit con una playera de tie dye que hice DIY! Esta super colorida y a la moda, quieren hacer una? Es muy simple, necesitas:

- Playera o sudadera blanca

- Ligas

- Colorante de tela

- Bolsa de basura o ziploc

Estos son los pasos:

1- Mojar la playera que usaras completamente con agua

2- Mezclar los colorantes de tela (yo use los sobres de caballito pero venden ya hechos en amazon) con 1/2 agua hirviendo, mezclar y echarle 1/2 agua fria. Los metes en unos vasitos que tengan chupon.

3- Amarrar tu playera con ligas para crear el diseño que tu elijas.

4- Le pones los colorantes de la forma que tu quieras.

5- La metes en una bolsa por 24 hrs minimo

6- Al pasar las 24 horas la sacas de la bolsa y la enjuagas con agua fria, le vas quitando las ligas y luego cuando ya la hayas enjuagado bien y no salga tinte la lavas con agua fria y jabon a mano y listo!

Hello everyone! Today I made an outfit with a tie dye shirt that I made DIY! It is super colorful and fashionable, want to make one? It is very simple, you need:

- White shirt or sweatshirt

- Rubber bands

- Fabric coloring

- Trash bag or ziploc

These are the steps:

1- Wet the shirt you will use completely with water

2- Mix the fabric dyes with 1/2 boiling water, mix and pour 1/2 cold water. You put them water bottles.

3- Tie your shirt with the rubber bands to create the design of your choice.

4- You put the dyes the way you want.

5- Put it in a bag for 24 hours minimum

6- When the 24 hours are up, you take it out of the bag and rinse it with cold water, you remove the rubber bands and then when you have rinsed it well and there is no more dye falling off, wash it with cold water and soap by hand and that's it!
