Being a female is not always easy, it's pretty difficult if you ask me. I love being a female but there are times that i think, why does it have to be so hard? Everyone has pretty high standards about females, from the way they act to the way they dress and even their makeup. It's pretty frustrating that society has never told boys that they look bad without makeup, or that they need to dress differently. Why don't people have the same standards for men as women, why doesn't anyone say anything to a man for being sloppy or if they say something they will simply be ignored, or is it that women should be like that too? Should we be careless? We'd be criticized anyways. I think men are intimidated by strong and powerful women, maybe they just want to lower our self esteem to make us feel weak. Something that really bothers me is that women are always sexualized no matter what, it's really horrible. We should be able to wear a mini skirt or really short shorts in the summer because it is sooo hot and not have men staring at us with a perverted look on their face when we walk by. This is not our problem, we are not throwing ourselves in to danger we just want to wear what we want period. Some people say we are provoking rape but that's just not it, it was hot outside so i wanted to wear something short to keep me cool! It's pretty scary that just for being a female so many things could happen, i'm not saying it should happen to men but i think it's a matter of no equality. There is a case here in mexico about a beauty pageant queen that was taken hostage in to a band of drug dealers just because of her skinny figure and pretty face, they used her to pass money around her tiny waist. It's really sad that those kind of things happen, but it's our reality, the world we are living in right now. Here is an example of the high standards that people have for women. 

Sizzling Styles

I really love hot weather, but these days it has been sizzling hot! On very warm or hot days do you really want to straighten or curl your hair just so you can end up sweating and putting it up in to a big sweaty bun? NO! Summer is the best time to let your natural hair flow, that way you can just pick it up and let it back down any time! I have reaaaaally long and reaaaaaally thick hair, in the summer i just want it out of my way. You don't have to wear an ugly bun, there are a lot of different up-do's that you can easily recreate, in very little time! Once again i'm talking about my fashion icon, Kendall! I love her style so much, she's always had a great sense of fashion. Kylie Jenner also has great style, but i think i can relate more to Kendall's. This warm almost summer season, she has been using all of this seasons trends the PERFECT way! crop tops, gladiator sandals, denim, short shorts and slits. Spring Events

Hey readers! I'm so happy that it's almost spring, and after spring.... SUMMER! Spring and summer are my favorite seasons, and i also tend to dress up more in summer because we all have those family weddings and baby showers. In this post i'll show you different outfits for spring time weddings and showers! This spring is all about lace and pastels, but also monochromatic looks and mixed prints.

Hola lectores! Estoy muy feliz de que ya casi es primavera, y despues de la primavera... VERANO! Primavera y verano son mis favoritas estaciones, y tiendo a salir mas en verano porque todos tenemos esas bodas familiares y baby showers. En este post les voy a ensenar diferentes outfits para bodas y baby showers de primavera! Esta primavera es toda sobre encaje y colores pastel, pero tambien looks monochromaticos y prints mezclados.

For this season, what's dominating on the runways are pastels, monochromatic looks, and tough/sweet looks. For spring weddings, i think long dresses look prettier, it might be chilly at night but hot by day, it's perfect for long dresses and skirts because you won't be freezing or melting in your dress. The first look is a beautiful long pastel blue dress, it's the perfect color and length! it looks beautiful paired with a pastel pink belt-bow. The second one is an amazing beige colored dress with a tutu-like skirt. If you look closely, you can see that the dress is short, but the long tutu covers it perfectly! The third look is a black long dress with cut outs and the perfect little blazer, it gives you kind of an Italian feel! Elegance and sophistication. The fourth and last look is the perfect mix of girly and fierce, the black blazer with silver embroidery and the matching clutch are perfect for the pastel blue dress, and it's also neither too long, or too short.

Para esta temporada, lo que está dominando en las pasarelas son colores pasteles, looks monocromáticos y looks rudos/ dulces. Para las bodas de la primavera, creo que los vestidos largos se ven más bonitos, puede ser frío por la noche pero caliente por día, es perfecto para los vestidos largos y faldas porque no te vas a congelas o vas a estar sudando en tu vestido. El primer look es un vestido largo azul en colores pastel hermoso, es el perfecto color y largo! Se ve hermoso emparejado con un cinturón de color rosa pastel tipo mono. El segundo es un vestido color beige increíble con una falda tipo tutú. Si se mira de cerca, se puede ver que el vestido es corto, pero el largo tutú cubre perfectamente! El tercer look es un vestido largo negro con recortes y la pequeña chaqueta/blazer perfecta, le da una especie de sensación italiana! Elegancia y sofisticación. El cuarto y último look es la mezcla perfecta de girly y feroz, el blazer negro con embroidery plata y el bolso a juego son perfectos para el vestido azul pastel, y también es ni demasiado largo o demasiado corto.

Baby showers

For baby showers, the best types of looks are short & decent, and long & sweet. For this occasion you could use bright and vibrant colors and prints, or mixed prints. White lace (or any color lace) is hot for this season, these types of dresses paired with a bright colored necklace and floral or bright shoes are perfect for baby showers! Also a floral dress with some nude or brown wedges looks exquisite, you could also wear sandals. All these pictures and  dresses are from forever 21.

Para los baby showers , los mejores tipos de vestidos son cortos & decentes , y largo & dulce . Para esta ocasión se puede utilizar colores y estampados brillantes y vibrantes , o impresiones mixtas. Encaje blanco (o cualquier color ) es hot para esta temporada, este tipo de vestidos combinados con un collar de color brillante y zapatos florales o de colores fuertes son perfectos para las duchas del bebé ! También un vestido de flores con unas cuñas color nude o cafes se ve muy bien , también se puede usar sandalias . Todas estas fotos y vestidos son de Forever 21 .

Beauty and fashion standards & Korean street style

Hello! Ever since i watched my love from the stars, i have been fascinated by Korean culture and style, i love how most people dress to impress; They look as if they spent time on creating their outfit and they know their style, they resemble magazine models walking around the city. Another thing that caught my eye was their idea of beauty, most of the people (on the documentary for fashion week) i saw said that their ideal face is western style. Most of the girls have somewhat strange beauty regimens like double eyelid surgery, occasional/monthly botox, cheek implants, forehead fillers, etc... Every different place has a different idea on beauty and fashion, it would be very interesting to research and document every different one. Here in Mexico there is also a very intense view on beauty and fashion, here it's a battle of social status: " Rich people are white/blond and poor people are black/brown/dark" . That's how a lot of people see it, but not everyone. It's also depending on the country/state. Where i live most of the boys/men like big booty and big boobs, they don't really like stick thin or skinny girls. The girl/woman view is very different from that, girls prefer to be skinny and have no cellulite, sagging or other details like that from being curvy. Beauty wise, girls where i live tend to use alot of makeup for anything like school, work, going to the movies, going out to eat, etc... I personally never wear much makeup, only to parties and special events, but the rest of the time i have zero makeup. Another thing here is that girls love straight and long hair (including me). The point is that we all have a different perspective on beauty and fashion, and we should stick to our own opinions!:) Here are some of my favorite korean street style looks:
